Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is a focused, therapeutic massage technique that works on the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Unlike Swedish massage, which is primarily for relaxation, deep tissue is designed to address chronic patterns of tension and muscular pain.
The treatment involves slow, deliberate strokes and sustained pressure using the fingers, knuckles, forearms, and elbows to access deeper layers of fascia and muscle. This approach allows the therapist to break up adhesions (bands of painful, rigid tissue), release trigger points, and restore normal movement and alignment in the body.
It is particularly effective for individuals with chronic tension, postural imbalances, or injuries that have led to long-standing muscular restrictions.
This massage is ideal for:
Individuals with chronic muscle tension
People recovering from injuries or repetitive strain
Athletes or physically active individuals
Those with postural issues or limited mobility
While deep tissue massage can sometimes cause mild soreness afterward—similar to post-workout fatigue—it typically subsides within a day or two, leaving the body feeling looser, stronger, and more aligned.
